The roadside trees along Marunouchi Nakadori are adorned with approximately 1.11 million LED lights in the district’s signature “champagne gold,” emitting an elegant glow and creating a refined street ambiance. The world’s most eco-friendly decorative lighting has been further developed into a “next-generation environmentally friendly illumination,” maintaining the same brightness and brilliance while reducing power consumption by 30% per bulb.

Tokyo Tower kicks off its winter fantasy illuminations on November 3rd, this year themed around “The Nutcracker.” The display will continue through February 2015. In addition to the Nutcracker-themed mouse kingdom lights in the observation deck, the main square will feature the perennial highlight—a massive Christmas tree. The entire area will sparkle with colorful lights, accompanied by a spectacular synchronized light and music show on the tree—don’t miss it when you’re in Tokyo.

At Tokyo’s Roppongi Midtown, around 180,000 LED lights have been installed on approximately 600 square meters of lawn in the Starlight Garden. With a cosmic travel theme, the lights include not only static colors and varying brightness levels but also dynamic effects that simulate the flow of light—creating scenes such as arriving in space, flying through the galaxy, weightlessness, and journeys beyond time and space.
