Cherry blossom viewing in early spring has become a popular leisure activity across Taiwan in recent years. Among the various cherry blossom spots nationwide, if we consider locations with open, beautiful, flat terrain that are convenient for visitors of all ages, the top recommendation is the cherry blossom grove at National Chi Nan University. The university covers an area of 150 hectares, surrounded by green mountains and blue skies. On the 20-hectare lawn, thousands of Taiwan mountain cherry trees and Japanese double-flowered cherry trees have begun to bloom beautifully, creating a scene like stepping into a paradise for flower appreciation.

The Sun Moon Lake Scenic Area Administration, National Chi Nan University, and the Dapuli Area Tourism Development Association are once again hosting a cherry blossom event combining "cherry blossoms" and "Chinese tea ceremony" from February 1 to February 20, 2015 (around the Lunar New Year), at the cherry blossom grove of Chi Nan University. Domestic and international visitors are invited to "savor fine tea and admire cherry blossoms" under thousands of cherry trees, enjoying a romantic and colorful warm afternoon.

On February 7 (Saturday), the "Flower Appreciation and Tea Ceremony" event will feature high mountain tea from Ren'ai Township, black tea from Yuchi Township, and Dongding oolong tea from Lugu Township as the main teas for tasting. Grand tea ceremonies will be held in the morning and afternoon, with 200 participants accepted for each session. The fee is NT$300 per person, and participants will receive a set of cherry blossom commemorative teacups (including one aroma cup and one tasting cup). Additionally, you can experience tea tasting guided by professional tea masters along with live music performances. We invite you to leisurely savor the beauty of flowers and tea under the cherry blossom branches this season.
