Asia’s First LINE FRIENDS Water Party – Cool Off Together at Ocean Park

To welcome the arrival of summer, Hong Kong Ocean Park’s Summer Splash will kick off with a splash from July 1 to August 30. Featuring “Top 10 Coolest Water Attractions” and in collaboration with the popular mobile messaging app LINE, it presents Asia’s first LINE-themed water party, “LINE Summer Mania,” along with six attractions making their Hong Kong debut: “Dynamic Water Swing,” “Super Water Bucket,” “Crazy Waterslide,” “Wild Bubble Party,” “Powerful Water Balloon Barrage,” and “Fantasy Fountain Array.” LINE has also set up a limited-time “Summer Splash” pop-up store in the park, exclusively offering over 60 LINE merchandise items available in Hong Kong for the first time, allowing fans to shop for their favorite collectibles.

Numerous LINE FRIENDS characters are making appearances at Ocean Park, transforming into fun and adorable summer-themed decorations with various expressions and poses, bringing surprises throughout every corner of Dreamy Waterworld and Harbourfront Land. The highlight is the all-new and Asia-exclusive LINE-themed water party “LINE Summer Mania” located in Harbourfront Land, featuring multiple super fun water attractions, including this summer’s debut “Dynamic Water Swing.” Visitors can enjoy the thrill of zipping back and forth through water curtains, reliving childhood joy while immersing themselves in a refreshing and exhilarating experience. The “Super Water Bucket” is another highlight and one of the season’s new photo spots—a giant bucket slowly fills with water before tipping over to drench everyone below with an icy surprise. Visitors can also strike a pose at designated photo spots to capture their friends getting soaked and share the fun moments.

Besides the numerous popular LINE FRIENDS-themed water attractions, the event also features a limited-time LINE FRIENDS Pop-up Store and a range of LINE-themed food offerings. To capture the trend of instant sharing, various themed photo and video spots have been set up around the park, allowing visitors to view and instantly share content via the LINE app. Fans of both LINE and Ocean Park can enjoy all Summer Splash activities as well as over 80 exciting attractions in the park with just one admission ticket.
