The Carlsbad Flower Fields in northern San Diego, California, USA, feature a colorful sea of flowers composed of various hues of morning glories, orchids, and ranunculus (persian buttercups). Covering a total area of two hundred thousand square meters, the Carlsbad Flower Fields were established in the 1920s, which means they have a history of nearly one hundred years to date. In addition, due to flowering seasons, the site is only open from early March to early May — just a few months before midsummer each year.

To this day, the Carlsbad Flower Fields have become a popular tourist attraction, drawing around one hundred thousand to two hundred thousand visitors during its two-month opening period each year.
