Taitung’s stunning natural landscapes have long been enchanting, especially the dreamy Brown Boulevard with its golden rice fields on both sides, which gained immense popularity after Takeshi Kaneshiro filmed an ad there and has since become one of the must-visit attractions in Taitung. However, apart from Brown Boulevard, there’s another lesser-known road in Changbin Township, Taitung—the Golden King Boulevard. This seemingly endless country road stretches all the way toward the deep blue Pacific Ocean, flanked by lush green terraced fields, making it yet another heavenly path in Taitung.

Golden King Boulevard is located in Changguang Tribe, Changbin Township, Taitung County, around the 85K mark on Provincial Highway 11. It’s a beautiful village nestled between mountains and the sea, preserving the natural and pristine rural landscape. Once you enter Changguang Tribe, you can drive straight west along Dong 13 Line, the Changguang Industrial Road, and the breathtaking “Golden King Boulevard” will come into view. The straight road resembles a pathway leading to a mystical land, with endless terraced fields stretching out on both sides, layer upon layer, nestled at the foot of Golden King Mountain and by the Pacific Ocean. The rice fields sway gently in the sea breeze, their golden stalks rippling like waves, echoing the sound of the ocean waves. The boundless, magnificent view rivals that of “Brown Boulevard.”
