Meanwhile, South Carolina, USA, witnessed a rare "fire rainbow" phenomenon, where cloud formations resembling wings were dyed in a spectrum of colors, stunningly beautiful.

The "fire rainbow," which looks like angel wings soaring, is actually not a real rainbow but a natural phenomenon known as a "circumhorizontal arc" or also called a "fire rainbow" or "circumhorizon arc." Forming such a sight is extremely difficult—it only occurs when the sun is at a high angle of 58 degrees above the horizon, and sunlight refracts through thick cirrus clouds filled with numerous hexagonal ice crystals.
