The global aviation professional website AirlineRatings.com has announced the “Top 10 Best Cabin Service Airlines in the World,” with EVA Air’s premium economy and economy classes receiving strong recognition in the “Premium Economy” and “Long-Haul Economy” categories, ranking among the top alongside globally renowned airlines such as Singapore Airlines, Qantas, Cathay Pacific, Air New Zealand, and Japan Airlines.

This evaluation covers 450 airlines worldwide and is divided into four categories based on service class: First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy, and Long-Haul Economy. Using its unique 7-star rating system, the website assessed the cabin services of each airline. Evaluation criteria included seat pitch, cabin environment, in-flight catering, entertainment, amenities, and crew service, among others. Airlines that scored full marks in all assessment items were then subjected to a second round of rigorous evaluation, focusing on their overall service aspects including operations and flight safety, to determine the Top 10 Best Cabin Service Airlines in the World.

The evaluation particularly highlighted that EVA Air was the first in the world to introduce premium economy in 1992 and has continuously improved its service quality. Whether it’s the cabin environment, service, in-flight catering, or overnight kits, passengers can clearly feel the dedication behind the service—qualities that helped EVA Air stand out.
