The magnificent sea of cosmos flowers at Fushoushan kicks off the autumn season, followed closely by the much-anticipated maple foliage. Almost every year, Fushoushan is one of the first spots in Taiwan to report the arrival of fall colors. In the past, the most popular maple viewing spot, "Songlu Cottage," would typically be ablaze with red leaves from early to mid-November. The vibrant hues of Acer palmatum leaves transform in dazzling variety, enchanting all who see them. Fushoushan welcomes autumn with some of the most beautiful maple scenery.

Fushoushan Farm is located behind Lishan in Taichung, spanning a vast area of 670 hectares. With its distinct four seasons, different landscapes emerge in cycles, offering something new to admire throughout the year. Hence, it has been described as “January’s snowy skies, February’s praised peach blossoms, March’s dancing cherry blooms, April’s laughing pears, May’s fragrant tea picking, June’s shimmering yellow chrysanthemums, July’s quest for peach aroma, August’s tasting of sweet pears, September’s gathering of joy, October’s bountiful harvest, November’s brilliant maple reds, December’s frosty abundance.” This ever-changing seasonal spectacle makes Fushoushan a popular destination all year round.
