Taiwan’s largest cornfield maze officially debuted on December 5, opening its gates for adventurers to take on the challenge. The Chiayi Yizhu Corn Culture Festival has built a giant 12-hectare corn maze, where visitors can not only explore the maze for free but also participate in activities specially designed within it, inviting both kids and adults to join the fun.

The Yizhu Township Farmers’ Association stated that to promote locally grown non-GMO hard corn, they launched a 10-hectare corn maze in 2012 which was hugely popular. This year, it has been expanded to 12 hectares, with an even greater level of difficulty. This year’s corn maze is designed in the shape of three embracing monkeys, making it extra adorable.

Maze Location: East side of Provincial Highway 19, Kilometer 94 at the maze site
Transportation:
1. Take a Chiayi Bus to Yizhu Township stop and get off.
2. Or take a train to Tainan Xinying Station, then transfer to Xinying Bus (bound for Puzi) and get off at Donghouluo Station.
