Japan’s longest pedestrian-only suspension bridge, the “Hakone West Foot - Mishima Grand Suspension Bridge,” has officially opened to the public. Spanning 400 meters, the bridge not only offers breathtaking views of the mountains of Izu but also allows visitors to take in the scenery of Mount Fuji.

The “Hakone West Foot - Mishima Grand Suspension Bridge” is located in Mishima City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. With a total length of 400 meters, it is currently the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in Japan. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Izu’s verdant, rolling mountains and Suruga Bay from an altitude of 70 meters. In addition, Mount Fuji can be seen in the distance, which is sure to attract many tourists to visit this attraction. Moreover, the Hakone West Foot Mishima Grand Suspension Bridge operates on a paid entry system: adults pay 1,000 yen, junior and senior high school students pay 500 yen, elementary school students pay 200 yen, and infants are admitted free of charge.
