Not sure how to plan your trip? Between January and March, Taiwan Railways introduces seven distinctive "cruise-style train travel packages." In addition to popular attractions like Taitung’s Chishang’s Boran Boulevard and Dulluan Station, this time the itinerary also includes spots such as the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum and the Alishan Forest Railway. Moreover, some Alishan-bound journeys coincide with the cherry blossom season, making them an excellent choice for travelers eager to enjoy the blooms.

Departing from Taichung / Xinyi / Changhua / Chiayi / Tainan / Xinzuoying / Kaohsiung, the journey begins with a slow ride through the Jiouzhuangtang–Liukuaicuo section to admire the old Jiouzhuangtang railway bridge from various angles. Next, experience the rich Hakka culture in Zhutian. The route then passes through Neishi Station to Zhizheng Forest Recreation Area and the National Museum of Prehistory to soak in the eastern region's cultural and natural charm. Departing from Banqiao / Taipei / Songshan / Qidu, first arrive at Yongle Station, known for its shell- or wave-like architecture and described as the most exquisitely designed small station on the North-Link Line. Then continue sequentially to Guanshan, Chishang, Shanli Station, and enjoy a slow ride through Dulluan Station to admire the beautiful Pacific scenery. After arriving at Jialu Station, take a chartered vehicle to Kenting’s SHA DU Hotel for an overnight stay.
