For the breathtaking and awe-inspiring landscapes and human scenes in extreme environments, photographers have captured these dramatic moments on film. They use their skills and extraordinary abilities to document human brilliance and courage, glory and mortality, in conditions that challenge the limits. Every photographic work tells a legendary story, bearing witness to the human spirit of challenging nature and pushing boundaries.
The OZARK outdoor brand has provided strong support for China’s mountaineering endeavors for many years. This photography exhibition will present the historic feat of humans conquering Everest through outstanding works, showcasing the charm of mountaineering and exploration, as well as the natural beauty and cultural depth of these endeavors.
Renowned photographer Lv Linglong’s works will be featured in this exhibition. Lv Linglong has a deep passion for the magical and majestic natural scenery and the rustic, profound historical culture of western China. Throughout his long career in adventure photography in the west, he has traveled extensively across Tibet, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Gansu, as well as Ganzi, Aba, and Liangshan in Sichuan, capturing countless images and accumulating a wealth of precious photographic works.
In addition, works by renowned Taiwanese mountaineer Ko Ming-hwa will also be exhibited. Ko Ming-hwa published "Nine Deaths, One Life" in 2003 and "The Courage of a Mountain" in 2009, and he is also an accomplished photographer.
Tibet is holy and beautiful, and it is a place where China’s mountaineering industry has flourished. Displaying these stunning works of extreme landscapes and human scenes here holds special and far-reaching significance. Let us look forward to the remarkable photography featured in this exhibition, and we welcome photography enthusiasts from all walks of life to visit.
