KAILAS’s First Beijing ShouTi Store Recently Opened
On June 17, the KAILAS store at Beijing ShouTi officially opened. It is the first specialized outdoor store within a bouldering gym in the country, marking not only a new breakthrough in the strategic partnership between KAILAS and ShouTi, but also creating a brand-new industry model of “climbing gym + outdoor store.”
In recent years, with the continuous and rapid development of outdoor sports, climbing gyms across the country have increasingly become hubs for local extreme climbing activities. More and more people are drawn to these venues to gather, train, and climb. At the same time, the demand for outdoor products—especially professional climbing gear and equipment—has grown significantly. As a result, a new model has emerged that allows people to experience climbing nearby and conveniently access the professional products they need.

As is well known, KAILAS has long been committed to promoting the development of amateur mountaineering, rock climbing, and other extreme adventure sports. Its collaboration with Beijing ShouTi Climbing Gym has not only launched a series of comprehensive year-round climbing events—including the ShouTi Members’ Competition, Seasonal Climbers’ Gatherings, and the Climbing Photography Contest—but also established the latest industry model. This partnership and the opening of the new store not only make it easier to promote and popularize climbing, bringing more professional products to outdoor enthusiasts quickly and conveniently, but also provide them with more and better opportunities to climb.
The Beloved Beijing ShouTi Climbing Gym Among Climbers
Located in the Ice Skating Hall of Beijing Capital Gymnasium, ShouTi Climbing Gym is a well-established and renowned climbing facility in Beijing and even across North China. It features multiple functional climbing areas such as a bouldering zone, speed climbing zone, and big wall zone, and has long been a favorite spot for local climbers. ShouTi has previously designed and built large-scale outdoor climbing venues like the Wanxianshan National Climbing Park, and successfully hosted major events such as the Xiangshan Cross-Strait Three Regions Climbing Challenge. We believe this is not just a climbing gym, but a comprehensive outdoor center for experiencing, learning, and improving climbing skills.
Throughout the year-long activities at Beijing ShouTi Climbing Gym, the new store and venue will showcase the latest KAILAS climbing gear for visitors to experience, much of which is officially designated by the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC). Climbers from all over are welcome to come and try it out on-site.
