● Snoopy Museum Opens
The first overseas branch of the Snoopy Museum is set to officially open on April 23 in Roppongi, Japan. During the opening period, the museum will first launch the “Beloved Snoopy” special exhibition, running from April 23 to September 25. In addition to showcasing Snoopy-related works, the museum will also offer seasonal and holiday-limited events and merchandise, along with a themed dining area featuring menus inspired by SNOOPY.

● Kyoto Railway Museum Opens
In Kyoto, besides traditional cultural sites like ancient temples and shrines, the railway museum is also widely renowned. Japan is consolidating the Umekoji Steam Locomotive Museum and the Osaka Transport Science Museum, and it is scheduled to reopen under the new name “Kyoto Railway Museum” on April 29, 2016. At that time, visitors will be able to see over 50 historically significant locomotives and carriages from both museums on display.

● Disneyland Sea & Osaka Universal Studios15Anniversary
In 2016, DisneySea and Japan’s Osaka Universal Studios are celebrating their 15th anniversaries. To mark the occasion, Universal Studios will introduce new attractions, including the world’s tallest and longest roller coaster, “Flying Dinosaur,” in the “Jurassic Park” area. Spanning 1,124 meters in length with a maximum height difference of 37.8 meters, it is set to officially open on March 18. Meanwhile, DisneySea will hold the “Tokyo DisneySea 15th Anniversary: The Year of Wishes” celebration starting April 15, kicking off a year-long anniversary event.

● Tokyo Otemachi Onsen Opens
Japan’s most famous business district, “Tokyo Otemachi,” has recently made headlines due to the discovery of an underground hot spring. Located near Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace, the onsen is very convenient for tourists. “Otemachi Onsen” is expected to officially open in May, offering the enjoyment of hot springs for around 1,500 yen, and is anticipated to become a new hot spring hotspot.
