The golden bell trees are in bloom, bringing vibrant energy to Tainan’s streetscapes. This year, due to weather conditions, the flowering season of Tainan’s yellow golden bell trees has arrived later than usual. Currently, some yellow golden bell trees can be seen blooming along Lin Sen Road and Nan Ning Street in Tainan. It is expected that by mid-March, yellow golden bell trees across Tainan will gradually burst into full bloom, dyeing the streets golden.

Tainan’s urban area is home to a large number of golden bell tree plants, among which the yellow, magenta, and purple-red varieties are the most common. In previous years, Tainan’s yellow golden bell trees typically flowered in late February to early March, with the blooming period lasting about half a month. This year, affected by the climate, the blooming has been delayed, but it is expected that golden bell trees will still be on view when visiting Tainan through the end of March.

Currently, some golden bell trees have started to bloom along Lin Sen Road and Nan Ning Street, and it is expected that by mid-month, large-scale golden-yellow scenery will be visible. In addition to these two areas, other great spots for viewing yellow golden bell trees include Yizaijin City in Tainan, the Guangfu Campus of National Cheng Kung University, the Zhuxi area by Tainan Stadium Park, Section 1 of Changrong Road, Lin Sen Road, Nan Ning Street, Dongfeng Road, the McDonald’s near Dongmen Road, the area near Renmei Night Market, and Kaishan Road.
