Tainan’s Baihe Lincupi Kapok Avenue rose to prominence after being featured in an international media list of the world’s 15 most stunning flower tunnel streets. It draws many visitors each blooming season. This year, the buds are more plentiful than ever, and the resulting bloom is highly anticipated.

This year’s Baihe Kapok Festival is scheduled to kick off on March 19, running for two weeks. During the event, guided tours and street performances will be held on weekends. Take the opportunity to admire the fiery red kapok blossoms and explore nearby attractions such as Little South Sea Scenic Area, Jingliao Rice-Free Happy Community, Guanziling Hot Spring Area, and Dongshan Coffee Leisure Park, immersing yourself in Tainan’s rural leisurely charm. Due to weather conditions, this year’s blooming period has been slightly delayed compared to previous years. Usually...Taiwanese kapok flowers typically bloom from mid-March to late March.You can still enjoy the sight of blooming kapok flowers in Baihe until early April.
