The beloved Japanese healing character Rilakkuma is coming to Kaohsiung. The "Rilakkuma’s Sweet Moments Special Exhibition," organized by MOVIC0?ROMOTE SERVICE, United Daily News Group, and Taroko Park, will be held at the Taroko Park Creative Base starting June 25. This marks Rilakkuma’s first large-scale solo exhibition in Kaohsiung, featuring multiple large plush figures, interactive picture books, nearly 100 Rilakkuma design sketches, and close to a thousand types of Rilakkuma merchandise — fulfilling all fans’ wishes in one go.

Upon entering the exhibition, visitors will be welcomed by giant plush figures of Rilakkuma, Kiiroitori, and the little chick. Next comes nearly 100 Rilakkuma design sketches, offering a glimpse into the evolution of the character. The "Rilakkuma’s Sweet Moments Special Exhibition" has selected 20 of the most iconic Rilakkuma designs from various themes to create the "Rilakkuma Toy Box Playground" exhibition area. The Kaohsiung edition will feature newly added design drafts, inviting fans to step into Rilakkuma’s sweet world.

Rilakkuma is a character produced by Japan’s San-X Co., Ltd. He is always relaxed and easygoing, dislikes standing or moving around, and stays carefree wherever he is. His back has a zipper with light blue polka dots inside — what’s hidden is his secret. His friend Kiiroitori has a red button on his belly, but he isn’t a real bear. Kiiroitori is mischievous and loves playing pranks, often bullying the little chick. The little chick, on the other hand, enjoys cleanliness and often tidies up the mess Rilakkuma makes.

The themed special exhibition also showcases a variety of goods created with Rilakkuma and his friends, such as umbrellas, dessert cups, and serving plates. Additionally, there is an exhibition-themed stamp book and nearly a thousand different products to choose from, so you can bring home happy, sweet memories.
