There's a new way to travel to Japan. The Huagang Group announced that its cruise ship, Luna, will conduct a trial voyage on May 14 between Hualien and Ishigaki Island. Ishigaki Island is approximately 200 kilometers from Taiwan, with an estimated sailing time of about four hours. In the future, efforts will also be made to establish it as a regular route, offering more diverse new travel experiences and developing tourism between the two destinations.

The trial voyage will be led by a economic exchange inspection group headed by Legislative Yuan member Hsiao Bi-khim, who will engage in economic and tourism resource exchanges with local officials from Ishigaki Island. The goal is to increase tourism demand between the two sides and further promote the development of local hotels, dining, and related tourism industries.
