Sweet tooth alert!Michelin-starred chef Joël Robuchon opened the first LA BOUTIQUE de Joël Robuchon boutique dessert store in Taiwan on May 14, located at Taipei SOGO Fuxing Branch. The shop specializes in takeout desserts and customized gift boxes, and will also launch LA BOUTIQUE-exclusive French pastries available only at SOGO.

Joël Robuchon came to Taiwan in 2009, first opening “L’ATELIER de Joël Robuchon” and “SALON DE THE de Joël Robuchon” at BELLAVITA in Taipei, both of which were highly popular among consumers. Recognizing the business opportunities in Taiwan’s food and beverage market, he is now set to launch the first LA BOUTIQUE de Joël Robuchon, a premium French patisserie, in Taiwan.

The French desserts at LA BOUTIQUE de Joël Robuchon are priced between 90 and 200 yuan. In addition to signature macarons, a variety of classic French pastries, French crêpes, and baked cookies, the menu also features seasonally changing desserts. For the first five days after opening, there is a special limited-time offer: spend 298 yuan in a single day and you can enjoy one piece of Joel Robuchon’s exclusive handmade French chocolate. Additionally, the classic French tea-time treat, Madeleine, is available at a special price of just 35 yuan.
