According to the Chinese Mountaineering Association: The Cross-Strait Youth Mountaineering Exchange event, hosted by the Chinese Mountaineering Association and organized by the Qinghai Mountaineering Association, has concluded. Eleven participants successfully summited Mount Yuzhu in Qinghai during the activity, while six others abandoned the summit attempt due to a blizzard.

To ensure the safety of all participants and the success of the event, the climb was divided into two summit teams. The main considerations were the participants' altitude acclimatization and physical condition.

On August 26, six instructors and 11 participants from the first group set off at 4:00 AM, and by 7:10 AM, the six instructors had successfully led the 11 participants to the summit. The second group, consisting of six participants and four instructors, departed for C1 camp in the afternoon of the 26th in preparation for a summit attempt on the 27th, but abandoned the climb due to a blizzard that struck in the early hours of that day.

On August 30, the mainland participants returned to their schools, while the Taiwan participants returned to Beijing and were received by Mr. Li Zhixin, Chairman of the Chinese Mountaineering Association. Li Zhixin stated that the younger generation are the future successors of our mountaineering endeavors, and they should dare to challenge themselves, continuously temper their willpower through the climbing process, and make due contributions to the development of the mountaineering cause.
