The 2013 Eurobike Show concluded successfully on the beautiful shores of Lake Constance on August 31st local time, setting a new record for attendance. Over the four-day exhibition period, a total of 45,200 professional visitors from 111 countries attended (2012: 43,700), and on the final public day, 20,400 cycling enthusiasts were welcomed. A total of 1,883 journalists from 45 countries participated in covering the event.
The presence of German Chancellor Angela Merkel at the 2013 Eurobike Show clearly demonstrated the government’s emphasis on the cycling industry. “Merkel’s visit sends a strong governmental signal for both Eurobike and the global cycling industry.” Friedrichshafen Exhibition GmbH President Klaus Wellmann summarized. “Everyone was very pleased about Merkel’s visit,” said Eurobike Project Director Stefan Reisinger.
During the 2013 Eurobike Show, a total of 1,280 exhibitors from 54 countries showcased their selected products, though there were only around 300 world premieres this year. This year’s Eurobike attendees came from 111 countries (2012: 97 countries), with international visitors accounting for 56% of the total.

Eurobike ShowDemo Day
The 2013 (7th edition) Eurobike Demo Day was held the day before the show (i.e., August 27th local time), attracting 2,318 professional visitors and 732 journalists from around the world to test ride the 2014 new products. 147 exhibitors offered their latest models for industry professionals and media to try out, including several world premieres.“The Demo Day combined the unveiling and testing of new bicycle products, providing industry professionals and media with a rare opportunity to test ride and experience next year’s latest products, setting a perfect stage for the Eurobike Show.” Summarized President Klaus Wellmann.

2014Eurobike Show Dates
The 2014 Eurobike Show will be held from August 27th to 30th local time in Friedrichshafen, Germany. The Demo Day will take place the day before the show (August 26th). The final day of the show (August 30th) will be open to the public.
