Following the previous popcorn specialty store, the popular Japanese anime "Chibi Maruko-chan" opened its first officially licensed Chibi Maruko-chan themed restaurant in Taipei in August. In addition to Taiwan-exclusive special menu items, it will also offer popular queued-up Japanese delicacies such as lobster burgers and fried steak, allowing the public to enjoy them without flying to Japan.

The themed restaurant is named "Chibi Maruko-chan KITCHEN" and features over a hundred seats. Key characters such as Maruko, Tama-chan, Hanawa, and Mankitsu will be transformed into waitstaff who roam the restaurant accompanying diners. There will also be adorable merchandise such as pins and mugs aimed at winning over fans’ hearts.
