Typhoon Nida, the fourth of its kind, is currently moving west-northwest through the Bashi Channel toward Guangdong on the Chinese mainland. It will be closest to Hong Kong tonight through early tomorrow morning. After nightfall, weather conditions will change rapidly, bringing strong winds, heavy rain, and high waves. Taiwan is also being affected by the outer circulation, with increasing rainfall in the eastern and southern parts. Regarding temperature, under the influence of descending air warmed by southeast winds crossing mountains, the western part remains relatively hot.

Mandarin Airlines flights AE1819/AE1820 between Taichung and Hong Kong are canceled.
Mandarin Airlines flight AE981 from Kaohsiung to Hong Kong is delayed until 3:40 PM.

Taoyuan–Macau flight IT301 is delayed to 4:00 PM
Taoyuan–Macau flight IT305 is delayed to 5:15 PM
Macau–Taoyuan flight IT306 is delayed to 7:55 PM
Macau–Kaohsiung flight IT322 is delayed to 6:40 PM
