In order to further strengthen the safety management of skiing venues in our city, improve the quality of relevant practitioners, and ensure the implementation of the administrative licensing work for skiing venues in our city, the Beijing Sports Leisure Industry Association and the Beijing Special Occupation Skills Appraisal Station for the Sports Industry will jointly carry out the national vocational qualification training and certification for social sports instructors (skiing). The relevant details are hereby notified as follows:
I. Schedule
Registration period: December 1, 2013 to December 10, 2013.
Check-in time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM on December 15, 2013.
Training period: December 16 to 19, 2013
Certification exam date: December 20, 2013
Training and examination venue: Jundu Mountain Ski Resort, Changping District, Beijing
II. Eligibility Requirements:
1. Aged 18 or above, with at least junior high school education and good health.
2. Ski enthusiasts with certain technical skills and organizational/teaching abilities who intend to work as ski instructors.
III. Training Content and Certification Method
Training content: Conduct public theory, specialized theory, and specialized skill training for social sports instructors in skiing, in accordance with the "National Vocational Standard Training Outline for Skiing Social Sports Instructors."
Certification method: Those applying to participate in the "Special Occupation Skills Certification for the Sports Industry" must complete all courses in the vocational qualification training class. The vocational skills certification includes two parts: theoretical knowledge and practical skills assessment. Both are scored on a 100-point scale. A passing grade requires both subjects to score 60 points or above, after which the applicant will be awarded the "National Vocational Qualification Certificate" for Social Sports Instructors (Skiing) issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. If only one subject (theory or skills) is passed, that passing score remains valid for two years, and the passed portion may be exempted during the retake exam.
