Häagen-Dazs Japan, famous for regularly debuting limited-edition flavors, has once again rolled out a new summer offering: the Green Tea Ice Cream Crispy Wafer Sandwich (Green Tea Fondue). To mark the 20th anniversary of the Green Tea flavor’s launch in the Japanese market, this dessert, themed around rich green tea aroma, is called Green Tea Fondue (抹茶フォンデュ). Even the wafer in the sandwich is green tea-flavored. It launched on August 16th, sending green tea lovers into a frenzy.
