Due to the approach of Typhoon Megi, Taiwan High Speed Rail announced that all services will be suspended on September 27 (Tuesday). As for September 28 (Wednesday), the high-speed rail company is continuously gathering the latest information on the typhoon and assessing its impact on the entire line, with a separate announcement to be made before 7:00 PM on September 27.

Taiwan Railways Administration's scheduled trains are fully suspended, with only local trains operating depending on weather conditions. Passengers are urged to confirm travel plans at the last minute and pay attention to their safety.
The announced train operation plan for tomorrow, September 27, is as follows:
I. Western Trunk Line (between Keelung and Chaozhou):
(1) Scheduled Trains: All suspended.
(2) Local Trains: Operate flexibly depending on weather conditions.
(3) Branch Lines: All suspended.
II. Eastern Trunk Line (between Badu and Taitung):
(1) North-Link Line, Yilan Line, Hualien-Taitung Line: All trains at all levels are suspended.
(2) South-Link Line (between Chaozhou and Fangliao, and between Fangliao and Taitung): All trains at all levels are suspended.
III. Alishan Forest Railway Main Line (between Chiayi and Fenqihu): Fully suspended on both September 27 and 28.
