A Taiwan-Japan collaboration, the million-dollar "Little Red Riding Hood - Train to the Candy House Journey" special exhibition made its grand debut at Huashan 1914 Creative Park on December 23. Alongside enjoying the manuscripts and works of Japanese illustration master Makoto Kato, the exhibition features six uniquely styled, imaginative, and healing-themed settings that allow visitors to step into the roles of the protagonists and immerse themselves in a warm fairy-tale world.

In collaboration with Japan’s legendary illustration master Makoto Kato, the million-dollar Little Red Riding Hood special exhibition debuted with great fanfare at Huashan 1914 Creative Park on December 23. Breaking free from the typical boundaries of an illustration exhibition, it adds childlike charm and rich detail. Not only does it redefine expectations by turning Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf into best friends, but the Japan-magazine-style, soul-soothing artwork also builds a blissful atmosphere through storytelling. With a blend of two-dimensional and three-dimensional elements, the dreamy six themed zones—adorable and playful healing-themed illustration scenes—allow visitors not just to feel the warmth, but also to become the heroes themselves, stepping right into the pages of a fairy tale.

The "Little Red Riding Hood - Train to the Candy House Journey" exhibition has also specially selected over 100 paintings and sketches from Makoto Kato’s 45-year career, including dozens of original product design drafts unveiled for the first time. This allows the public to not only get an up-close look at the creative charm of a pioneer in cultural and creative design, but also capture memorable photos in cute and fun settings.
