The competition vehicle, the all-new Buick Regal, also left a deep impression on every participant. Designed as a stylish lifestyle vehicle tailored for modern families, the all-new Buick Regal features an exterior that perfectly blends the beauty of sculpture art with the precision of craftsmanship. Its dynamic and sleek design language is carried throughout, and the Fast Back fastback body, crafted with aerodynamic principles, not only offers smooth lines but also achieves the lowest drag coefficient of 0.27 in its class. The chassis system of the all-new Buick Regal uses an optimized enhanced front MacPherson and rear multi-link independent suspension layout, along with a front six-rear four subframe connection. Paired with three highly efficient and energy-saving powertrains — the 2.4L SIDI intelligent direct-injection engine, the 2.0L ECO intelligent engine, and the 1.6T turbocharged engine — and the standard new-generation 6-speed automatic transmission, it delivers precise and solid handling, as well as a comfortable and quiet ride. Moreover, the all-new Buick Regal comes standard with a range of active safety systems, including ESC electronic stability control, CBC cornering brake control, HBFA hydraulic anti-brake fade system, EEPO brake override system, and TPMS electronic tire pressure monitoring system. It also adds features like the HillAssist hill-start assist system, fully meeting the most stringent five-star safety crash test standards in Europe and North America.

This year’s challenge is themed “Half-Fuel Living, Traveling Through Life,” aiming to help participants better understand the significance of energy conservation, environmental protection, and green travel for our daily lives through the simple act of driving more fuel-efficiently. At the same time, it allows participants to better experience the ultimate companionship of a GM vehicle throughout life. In addition to the all-new Buick Regal, the competition also includes models from the Chevrolet and Baojun brands, covering multiple urban areas and hosting events in three cities nationwide.
