Cherry blossoms across Taiwan are blooming one after another, with various regions entering their peak flowering period – the best time for cherry blossom viewing. Located in Nantou, the Shanlinxi Forest Recreation Area is not only a well-known scenic spot in central Taiwan but also one of the prime locations for cherry blossom appreciation. Famous for its rich flora and fauna ecological landscapes, Shanlinxi presents distinctly different scenery throughout the four seasons, and the cherry blossom season is, of course, a landscape blanketed in pink.
