With box office takings exceeding 24.1 billion yen and warmly received by audiences, the Japanese animated film "Your Name" features filming locations across Tokyo, Qingdao, Gifu, and Nagano. Starting March 29th, the "Your Name" exhibition will be held at the National Taiwan Science Education Center in Taiwan. The exhibition will showcase exquisite content including storyboards, characters, stage settings, scenic animation, music, and an introduction to Makoto Shinkai’s works.

Zone 1: The Narrative
A moving story requires captivating visuals. This zone displays the storyboard artworks personally crafted by animation master Makoto Shinkai, offering visitors an up-close encounter with each iconic scene from the film.

Zone 2: The Characters
Every indispensable character in the film has their unique personality. Especially the vividly animated movements—each raised brow or smile required meticulous character design to perfectly shape the roles. This zone showcases hand-drawn materials of the male protagonist — Taki, the female protagonist — Mitsuha, and other characters.

Zone 3: The Settings
Whether it's the mountain top meteor crater, Lake Itomori, and the Miyamizu Shrine where the heroine Mitsuha and her younger sister Yotsuha serve as shrine maidens, or the restaurant in Tokyo where the male protagonist Taki works, and the fateful staircase where the two protagonists reunite. Each classic setting where the film’s characters appear is vividly memorable. This zone displays the setting materials for each famous filming location, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the world of the film.

Zone 4: The Scenery
Makoto Shinkai, the master animator, is best known for his high-resolution, incredibly realistic background art—from "5 Centimeters Per Second," "The Children Who Chase Lost Voices," "The Garden of Words," to the Asia-wide hit "Your Name" in 2016. The background art in his films has long been hailed by netizens as god-tier artwork. This zone presents the breathtakingly beautiful animation scenes from "Your Name," immersing visitors as if they’ve stepped right into Shinkai’s cinematic universe.
