Following the cherry blossom season at Wuling Farm, the Alishan Cherry Blossom Festival is set to kick off on March 10. Although this year, due to abnormal weather conditions, the iconic Cherry King Somei Yoshino—usually a benchmark for the bloom season—has yet to blossom, many stunning cherry blossoms have already begun to bloom, and numerous visitors are gearing up for the pilgrimage. Below, we introduce the latest blooming status of five of Alishan’s best hidden cherry blossom spots, as well as the breathtaking beauty of the so-called Little Cherry King—an unmissable sight for cherry blossom enthusiasts.
