The annual Zhuzihu Calla Lily Season kicks off grandly on March 24. Many visitors flock to Yangmingshan’s Zhuzihu just to admire the beauty of the calla lilies. To maintain the quality of the flower-viewing experience, it is recommended that visitors take the bus up the mountain and then stroll along Zhuzihu’s unique creek-side trails, weaving through the fields of calla lilies to closely admire their beautiful blossoms, all while enjoying a leisurely and delightful time.

It is recommended that visitors start from the top of Xiaoyoukeng, where wisps of steam rise above Dinghu Lake, and circle along the looped creek-side trail at Dinghu. The route passes through the newly completed Yangming Creek trail, where the creek banks are lined with stones of various sizes, resembling a nearly natural mountain stream. Lining both sides of the trail are cherry blossom trees, green maples, and Taiwan acacia, allowing visitors to enjoy the water at times, wind upwards along the winding path that connects to the Seven Star Mountain car-free loop, and wander through the woods at other times — the scenery is truly pleasant.
