Nature's Fantastic Artistic Makeup — A Natural Canvas in an Unexpected Hidden Wonderland

Recently, the outlet of Renyi Reservoir, which has stirred up much buzz among photography lovers, is situated in Renyi Reservoir, Chiayi County. What used to be a simple drainage ditch has transformed into a stunning natural wonderland, as it is now covered with the aquatic fern *Azolla*, creating a living canvas of the earth. *Azolla* turns red in winter, growing more vibrant as temperatures drop, and is typically found in rice paddies, marshes, and slow-moving streams. However, such a large expanse of *Azolla* like that in the Renyi Reservoir drainage channel is quite rare. Nowadays, this spot has become one of the pilgrimage sites for photography enthusiasts who come specifically to admire and capture this rare spectacle.
