The annual Beijing Ski Industry Summit Forum is gearing up for this year’s grand event. The 2014-2015 Beijing Ski Industry Summit Forum is scheduled to be held on September 17-18 at Beijing Crab Island Resort. This premier platform for high-level professionals in China’s ski industry will bring together elites from all sectors of the domestic ski business—executives from ski resorts, managers of ski facility and equipment suppliers, representatives from ski industry management, research, educational institutions, ski clubs (websites), and travel agencies—to discuss hot topics related to the development of China’s ski industry.

This year’s Beijing Ski Industry Summit Forum spans two days and features three major highlights that attendees can look forward to:

First, the Olympic bid topic. This year’s ski industry summit will focus on the opportunities brought by the Olympic bid and how they impact China’s ski industry. Discussions will revolve around how ski resorts, equipment suppliers, research and educational institutions, clubs (ski websites), can seize these opportunities, share benefits, and shoulder responsibilities. Look forward to authoritative updates on the Olympic bid, behind-the-scenes stories, and participation in the “Olympic Bid Signature Wall” activity to voice the strong support of China’s ski industry for Beijing’s bid to host the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Second, the Summit Dialogue. Centered on the theme of “sharing, collaboration, and mutual success,” this year’s ski industry summit will feature dialogues on topics such as “destination ski resorts and the ski vacation lifestyle” and “the virtuous cycle of ski resort operations.” Seasoned industry veterans will be invited to share their forward-looking insights on China’s ski industry and practical experience in ski resort management.

Third, the Sub-forum Activities. For the first time, this year’s ski industry summit will include specialized sub-forums for ski resorts, ski resort facilities and equipment, and ski gear. These forums will focus on specific issues of interest within various segments of the ski industry, making the exchange more direct, professional, and efficient, while also offering greater opportunities for participation.
The 2014-2015 Beijing Ski Industry Summit Forum is hosted by Outdoor Life Magazine, co-organized by Chongli Taiwu Four Seasons Cultural Tourism Resort, and undertaken by the Editorial Department of Ski World, with Mr. He Ping, Executive President of Beidahu Ski Resort, specially invited to serve as the moderator.
