    On Teachers' Day (September 10), present your teaching certificate to enjoy a special discounted combo ticket price of 130 RMB per person. This offer requires ticket purchase with valid ID for park entry, is non-refundable, and is only available to independent travelers. Group tours organized by travel agencies and online ticket purchases are not eligible for this promotion.

(2) Unforgettable Teacher’s Grace – I Send You Blessings at WanTianshu

    The round Mid-Autumn moon is a time for family reunions. While we raise our glasses, admire the moon, and share warmth with family and friends, our teachers might still be staying up late grading papers, burning the midnight oil for their students. Will you think of your beloved teachers? Is there anything you’d like to say to them?

During the event period, visitors to WanTianshu Scenic Areawho subscribe to the official WeChat account of WanTianshu Scenic Area (wts_6688) or follow the official Weibo account (Xishuangbanna WanTianshu Scenic Area), can share a message or blessing for their teacher (such as: "At WanTianshu, I wish my esteemed teacher XXX a Happy Mid-Autumn Festival and Teachers' Day!") along with a scenic photo posted to their Moments. They then need to send the screenshot to the scenic area's WeChat or post it on Weibo tagging @Xishuangbanna WanTianshu Scenic Area (Weibo) or @xsbnwts2012 (Tencent).Upon verification by staff at the designated event location, they can receive a scenic gift. Visitors who include a photo with their teacher in their post will receive an additional scenic gift. After the event, five lucky participants will also be randomly selected to receive a Mid-Autumn Festival gift pack from the scenic area.

(3) “I Love WanTianshu” Essay Competition with Prizes

    WanTianshu is an iconic tree species of the tropical rainforest—down-to-earth, brave, and outstanding. In our minds, teachers are like the tall WanTianshu trees, teaching us to be grounded, focused, and courageous as we grow up to become valuable contributors to society.

The “I Love WanTianshu” essay competition accepts travelogues, guides, or any articles that praise teachers through the lens of WanTianshu. All writing styles are welcome, with word counts between 500–2000 words. Five outstanding works will be selected, and each author will be awarded 200 RMB in cash. Articles over 1000 words published in local or higher-tier publications will receive an additional 500 RMB bonus if the author sends a copy of the published issue to WanTianshu Scenic Area.

(4) WanTianshu WeChat Gold Membership Card – A Must-Have

    During the event, simply scan and follow the official WeChat account of WanTianshu Scenic Area (WTS_6688), bring your ID and valid admission ticket to the designated location, and pay just 30 RMB to apply for the WanTianshu WeChat Gold Membership Card. This card allows unlimited entries to the scenic area for one year (excluding Spring Festival and National Day holidays) and offers an 20% discount on other experience activities (Nanla River sightseeing cruise, canopy walkway/rainforest bridge). Successful applicants will also receive a scenic gift on-site (limited to 100 per day, so hurry!).
