As the cherry blossom season is in full swing, renowned sakura viewing sites across Taiwan, including Alishan and Lala Mountain, are blossoming in succession. This time, we’re highlighting a lesser-known sakura spot in Jianshi Township, Hsinchu County – the Wanli Mountain Garden, nestled within Mayi Tribe of Yufeng Village. It’s a private attraction where over 100 Somei Yoshino, Wuhsueh, Taiwan Cherry, and Mountain Cherry trees bloom in relay. With pink, snow-white, and the rare pale yellow Maqiu flowers, the entire garden is enveloped in vibrant floral seas, creating a breathtaking spectacle that captivates every visitor.
