Canada Day Celebration Kicks Off in Taipei on June 25 – “Buffalo Ride” Champion Wins Free Flights

The Canadian Trade Office in Taipei announced that to celebrate Canada Day, related festivities will take place on June 25 starting at 1 PM. This year’s celebration specially introduces an arts and crafts market and a Canadian specialty food zone, where visitors can sample Canadian wild rice, maple syrup, maple leaf cookies, candies, cider, and craft beer. The arts and crafts market will offer a range of handmade goods for browsing.
The event will also feature non-stop live music, buffalo riding competitions, an inflatable castle, face painting, ice hockey experiences, lucky draws, and a closing fireworks show. Among them, winners of the buffalo ride competition can receive round-trip flights between Taipei and Canada – the biggest prize of the celebration.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Canadian Trade Office in Taiwan, and the office has set up a special area to provide travel-related consultation services.
