From now until June 26, Eslite Bookstore is hosting the “The Ideal Stationery” exhibition. Together, we explore the ideal relationship and private memories between people and their stationery, peek into the hidden personalities of stationery enthusiasts through their usage habits, and finally dissect the stationery to uncover the secrets behind the creation of ideal items.
In addition to fascinating zones such as the Artisan Out-of-Print Stories, Must-Haves for Stationery Professionals, Stationery Walk of Fame, Stationery Medical Records Investigation, and 20 “Why Stationery?” sections, this edition of “The Ideal Stationery” also features these five must-see highlights!

For the Eslite Bookstore “The Ideal Stationery” exhibition, CHALKBOY has created a complete visual identity and depicted seven vivid scenes of “ideal stationery in use,” marking his largest collaboration project in Taiwan to date. Having previously worked at a café in Osaka, Japan, CHALKBOY discovered the joy of drawing with chalk while creating daily blackboard menus. Since then, he has embarked on a chalk art journey across various shops and cafés in Japan. Today, CHALKBOY is no longer limited to chalk and blackboards; with his distinctive style that blends text and imagery, he collaborates with a wide range of different partners.
