The wonders of the world never cease to amaze—not only the breathtaking works of nature but also many architectural and design creations that leave people in awe. Below is a list of fountain installations around the globe, ranging from those with majestic grandeur and unusual appearances to those with unique creativity, all combining the magnificent beauty of water features with various contemporary architectural aesthetics. Each one is truly astonishing. Among them is a hidden gem in the Shuishe Reservoir Scenic Area in Tainan—the only water clock in Taiwan. Developed by ITRI using water-pumping technology, this creative water clock can display patterns such as text, flowers, and animals. It first appeared during the Taipei Flower Expo but was dismantled after the exhibition ended.
