Spanning 300 meters, this underground street connects Zhongshan Station and Taipei Main Station. Capitalizing on the foot traffic and flow between these two major commercial hubs, it blends the ambiance of old Taipei alleyways with the vibrancy of a transportation nexus. In just two and a half months, it has been entirely reimagined and redesigned into a brand-new reading space. In addition to various themed zones and family-friendly areas, it features large light walls showcasing classic literary works and cultural and creative boutiques scattered along its streets — a thoughtfully designed space that has become a new highlight of Taipei’s arts and culture scene.
