With summer vacation here, to capture the peak summer travel season, Lihpao International Circuit has announced the grand opening of Taiwan’s largest virtual reality experience center – VR Formula (VR Formula) – spanning over 250 ping on July 1. It introduces Taiwan’s only VR moving shooter “Battle for Survival,” VR racing “Speed Conqueror,” VR motorcycles “Moto Championship,” and other cutting-edge equipment with a realism level of up to 90%. Taiwan is one of the few countries in Asia, after Japan and South Korea, able to offer such VR experiences, keeping pace with top-tier global VR technology.
Featuring the characteristics of “world-class, Taiwan’s first, full-body immersion,” VR Formula will also offer Taiwanese visitors access to the virtual world at the most competitive prices after its official launch on July 1. Moreover, VR Formula won’t stop at its current facilities – more age-appropriate attractions will be introduced in the future.
VR Formula is a collaboration between Lihpao International Circuit and Dah Chong Da Li Digital Audiovisual, a subsidiary of CMPC. The two parties hit it off in their shared vision of creating a new landmark in virtual reality. The related gaming equipment is making its Taiwan debut, evolving traditional visual experiences into diverse interactive motion simulators that deliver even greater immersion. In the future, VR Formula will also become the most important base for Dah Chong Da Li’s development of the VR industry, showcasing the latest equipment to Taiwanese visitors.
Since beginning trial operations in April this year, Lihpao International Circuit has received widespread acclaim in the market. It is also the only go-kart circuit in Taiwan certified by FIA CIK and is hailed as Asia’s best go-kart track. To meet the needs of all age groups, after careful planning, this summer it has launched the futuristic VR Formula experience center, combining adventure and thrill, family fun, and dining all in one. This multi-faceted service offers a brand-new visual extravaganza.
The globally unique VR shooting experience “Battle for Survival” features Taiwan’s only circular running track design, along with special shoe-sensor technology and safety harnesses. It allows players to move long distances, run, and even crouch in the game through real foot movements with instant motion feedback. Launched just six months ago, it has been introduced across various Asian countries, and now Taiwan – following Japan and South Korea – sees its first unveiling of six “Battle for Survival” units at Lihpao International Circuit, giving consumers access to world-class realistic thrills. “Battle for Survival” synchronizes players’ body movements with their in-game characters, making them feel as if they’re truly inside the game. Safe and responsive, it captures every thrilling moment. Players can enjoy solo adventures or engage in multiplayer battles to experience the heart-pounding tension together – offering an all-encompassing, cutting-edge visual experience.
