Located next to the Fuli Township Farmers’ Association, in addition to sand sculptures, you can also admire the blooming zinnia flower sea. The colorful and healing small flowers cover the entire green field, forming a spectacular and vibrant expanse. Zinnias are heat-resistant flowers, typically in bloom from June to October. Earth Barn – Fuli Station
 
With nearly a century of history, Fuli Station in Hualien’s Fuli Township was reconstructed in 2016 as part of the overall service improvement plan for the Hualien-Taitung railway line, transforming into a distinctive building full of design aesthetics. Recently, Fuli Station was awarded the Silver Prize in the “Transportation and Infrastructure Projects” category at the 2017 Hong Kong Institute of Architects’ Architectural Design Awards for the Greater China Region. Since Fuli is known for producing rice that enjoys a reputation in Japan, the station was designed with the concept of an “earth barn,” integrating the station environment with the surrounding landscape, giving it the distant appearance of a miniature rice silo.
