Japan Post has created 1/18 or 1/12 scale miniatures of locally distinctive mailboxes, including the famous panda mailbox at Ueno Zoo — one of Japan’s iconic landmarks. The replica meticulously recreates the real mailbox, and its exquisite craftsmanship is truly admirable.

This gashapon series is available for purchase at counters nationwide in Japan, priced at 300 yen each and sold in limited quantities until stock lasts. Smaller post offices may have limited stock, so fans are advised to visit larger branches if they want one.
