Layered Secret Realm with Diverse Photo Highlights | 2017 Taoyuan Land Art Festival

The “2017 Taoyuan Land Art Festival” was held from August 18 to September 3 in Guanyin and Bade Districts of Taoyuan City, spanning 17 days. The event showcased Taoyuan’s unique natural landscapes, including irrigation ponds, melaleuca tree-lined forest trails, and rich natural ecology, integrating local ethnic culture to allow everyone to experience the beauty of Taoyuan together.

This year’s Taoyuan Land Art Festival adopted the concept of “Discovering Landscapes in Secret Realms,” seeking out and exploring intriguing “secret landscape realms.” It brought together artists, local community members, and regional universities, making full use of the area’s natural landscapes and cultural features. A total of 27 installation artworks, over 20 workshops, 17 art and cultural performances, 5 thematic activities, 6 art markets, 1 international forum, 12 zones with 17 community mini-tours, a special exhibition of traditional farming machinery, DIY experiences with local agricultural products, and an arts boulevard on holidays were organized, aiming to provide a unique and immersive experience.
