The Taiwan Railways Administration recently announced the "Forest Railway Deep Travel" cruise-style train itinerary, to be held in four batches, with a total limited quota of 400 participants. Each trip costs NT$950 and tickets can be booked online, making it a top choice for railway enthusiasts. Not only will it take passengers on a leisurely tour of unique small stations along the forest railway, but also allow them to watch the train spiral up the mountain, visit the oldest old-fashioned candy store, and explore Taiwan’s only bat ecology education center.

Taiwan Railways stated that the "Forest Railway Deep Travel" cruise-style train will take passengers on an in-depth exploration of the rise and fall of classic stations, witness the train spiraling up the mountain, and catch a glimpse of the Alishan Forest Railway’s unique mountain-climbing construction techniques, which have the potential to become a World Heritage site. It is a highly worthwhile journey to experience.

The forest railway cruise-style train will be offered in 4 batches, with travel dates on September 6, 13, 20, and 27. Each batch has a limit of 100 participants. Children under 6 years old who do not occupy a seat may ride for free, but will not receive souvenirs. The itinerary is available by appointment and ticket purchase.
