The “Taiping Cloud Ladder,” the country’s longest single-span scenic suspension bridge, which opened on September 23, offers stunning daytime views of the hills and plains of Yunlin and Chiayi, and dazzling nighttime illuminations. Recently, the bridge has been conducting evening test lightings, with beautiful lights adorning the entire structure. Its graceful arch resembles a smiling sky ladder at night, complemented by the glittering night scenery of the Chianan Plain, earning high praise from many visitors.

With an altitude of 1,100 meters and a total length of 281 meters, the main structure of the Taiping Cloud Ladder has been completed. The bridge and its cables are equipped with LED lights, which are currently undergoing testing. Admission will be ticketed once open, and there will be a daily limit on the number of visitors. In addition, guided tours and interpreters will be available to introduce the Taiping Cloud Ladder and the surrounding scenery to visitors.
