The English name of the campaign, BANG!, reflects its dynamic, powerful, passionate, and impactful nature, while the Chinese name "Bang!" (pronounced similarly and meaning "Awesome!") complements it perfectly.
Marriott International Hotels Asia Pacific Vice President of Food and Beverage Operations Fred J. DelucaRalph Frehnerstated: "The 'BANG!' campaign is truly a first in the hospitality industry, aiming to discover passionate entrepreneurs in the food and beverage space. Their innovative concepts must reflect both the local culinary culture and appeal to the next generation of trend-savvy youth. We’re looking for the next 'big thing' that hasn’t been created yet."
Marriott is seeking an "original, feasible, and creative" bar concept for the "101 LOUNGE" lobby lounge at its Beijing Renai Courtyard by Marriott Hotel. For details on the campaign, entry requirements, and to submit an application, please visit www.startwithabang-beijing.com/beijing/home.

The hotel will select five finalists from the submissions, who will then be invited to submit a full business plan. These plans will be judged by Marriott’s review committee and influential professionals from Beijing’s industry, with the winner to be announced on May 26.

The "BANG!" campaign previously made its debut at the JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Baoan, where entrepreneur and private kitchen owner Estella Pan , known for her passion for food and expertise in tofu dishes, stood out among the contestants. She plans to modernize and add contemporary flair to her family’s traditional tofu recipes by opening and managing her own "Tofu Boutique."
