Located in Yongjing Township, Changhua, the “Chengmei Cultural Park” features classical architecture and Japanese gardens that preserve the essence of traditional Minnan and Hakka building techniques and artistic culture. Next to the park is a large landscape installation artwork called “Seed Maze,” designed and created by landscape artist Lin Shun-long.
The giant seed in the center is made from driftwood and other waste materials, with a swing inside, and handcrafted birdhouses on the walls. Surrounding the seed is a natural maze woven from bamboo.
The “Seed Maze” is not only popular with children but also a favorite IG photo spot.
Entry to the “Chengmei Cultural Park” requires advance booking. After making a reservation online or by phone, visitors must check in to receive a visitor badge. After watching an introductory video, they can enter the park. Please note that pets are not allowed inside the park (except guide dogs and police dogs on duty).
