The Double Ten National Day fireworks show, which had been canceled multiple times, is back this year and will be held in Taitung County for the first time. It will take place from 7:00 to 7:36 p.m. on October 10th at the southern embankment of the Beinan River estuary. In addition, the Taitung County Government has launched the "Double Ten Fireworks & Hot Air Balloon Plan," hosting a "Hot Air Balloon & Fireworks Carnival" at Taitung Forest Park on October 10th and 11th.
