1. Hinoki Forest Life Village
Covering approximately 3.4 hectares, Hinoki Forest Life Village preserves traditional Japanese architecture. Stepping into this village feels like traveling back to a bygone era of historical charm. The site repurposes former dormitories and official residences of Japanese employees using traditional Japanese construction techniques, transforming them into a new hub for forestry culture, arts, and tourism.

It is not only Taiwan’s earliest forestry village but also the most comprehensively preserved and extensive complex of Japanese-style official residences. As a result, the architectural complex was designated as a municipal historic site and historical building in 2005.
